CHARITY

The Hess Family and the MiKiDo students have been doing charity work by helping others since 1982 when Mike started MiKiDo Foundation. His first donation was to a homeless shelter in Alexandria, VA. Along with doing shows and raising money, canned food and clothes to benefit not only the local area but also people in Ecuador SA and Belize CA. The Hess's have donated to various organizations such as Rape Crisis Center, Wilson Center (Food Bank for the Homeless) Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Cystic Fibrosis; (one of Master Hess student had Cystic Fibrosis). They have conducted various self-defense seminars to women groups and organizations in the Washington Metropolitan area. Also something special for the Hess family is delivering or sending annually medical supplies to Senior Citizens and taking clothes and schools supplies to children in an orphanage in Ecuador. There are times that we wish we could do more but we realize it's a big world, but every little bit helps.
